The Internet offers perhaps the most targeted form of advertising yet. If you Google, say, Canon's latest digital camera, you so because you're probably in the market for a camera. You're likely to only visit websites listed on the first or second page of the search results.

Successful website operators know that Search Engine Optimization, commonly abbreviated as SEO, is a crucial strategy to increase their website's visibility on relevant keywords through the ubiquitous search engines that we all rely on every day. Not surprisingly, simply having a great site is not nearly as efficient as having a great site that actually pops up in related searches.

One of our clients is a general contractor in the Atlanta-area. He owner has more than thirty years experience in the field, but Wildwood Construction was a new venture and we designed the logo and website.

Samadhi Creations looked at Wildwood's core services: the company is a general contractor that does everything from building custom homes, to interior and exterior painting, basement refinishing, fire restoration, fixing homes from hail damage, installing windows and siding, and pouring concrete foundations and driveways in the Atlanta-area. We researched the number of searches for various keywords and combinations to make sure that we optimized for terms that are actually searched.

A complete SEO strategy should include monitoring web logs using tools such as Google Analytics so that we can learn about our visitors and how they find our pages. Then you'd want to use that data to keep refining and optimizing your web pages for even more targeted visitors.

As most searchers know, simply typing in a service brings up businesses from all over the country, so the keywords above were paired with names of cities and counties north of Atlanta that Wildwood serves.
